We’ve had an Event-full History

We host events to expose our students to job opportunities and give them a chance to share what they’ve learned with the community. All events are student-designed and student-run, teaching them valuable skills in project management and event production.

Fallbrook Farms Self Awareness Field Trip

When: Annual Fall Trip

Where: Fallbrook Farm, Geneseo, NY

What: Self-awareness is a cornerstone of our business training. In our program, youth explore the calming power of nature, connect with their surroundings, and reflect on their behavior. For many, the unique farm setting offers a refreshing and transformative experience.

Impact: Youth step outside their urban environment to immerse themselves in nature, where they can find peace, reflect on their emotions, and build a deeper connection with the world around them.

Agricultural Fair Puppet Show

When: October 2024

Where: Genesee Country Village & Museum Agricultural Faire

What: In response to the Mental Health Crisis, WellVentions teen entrepreneurs and their troupe of emotional support puppets blast into Innerspace at WellVentions' Puppet Theater! Where kids can learn to be the boss of their emotions. Students built puppets and animated videos to explore how they have taken charge of their emotional wellness!

Impact: Students learned product and media production by creating the videos and puppets for the event - they also choreographed the performance and presented to live audience. Learning valuable product development and presentation skills along the way!

Artists Row Musical Performance

When: September 2024

Where: Artists Row at the Annual Rochester Art Fair

What: Wellventions students wrote and performed original pieces of music alongside the University of Rochester Accapella group!

Impact: Students gained hands-on experience in songwriting, event planning, vendor coordination, storytelling, and live performance. The event also provided a platform for them to share valuable lessons on managing emotions and addressing bullying with the community.
